Apache Buggies are our double seater off-road buggies that are super fast and agile. You drive with an instructor at your side so that they can guide you to your and the buggies full potential.
So, How Do Apache Buggies Work?
These double seater off-road buggies are super fast! With a 750cc engine propelling basically a roll cage and two people, acceleration is phenomenal!
You will be sat with our experienced instructor who will help you get the best out of these incredible machines.This session begins with your instructor giving you a safety brief to run through the controls. He will also give you some tips on braking points and how to get the most out of the Apache's potential on the track you face.
You will then head off for some practice laps. If you have listened to the advice and mastered the course, your lap times should reflect well against the rest of your group. This is always where it gets competitive as you can see how you're doing against the rest of the group!
Remember, Apache Buggies is a team activity, so where we have multiple teams the team average is taken. This helps promote communication within the team as it's in the faster drivers interest to pass down any tips to slower colleagues. We can also add an extra element - the Le Mans start!
Each driver changeover is included in the teams overall time. This promotes teamwork as colleagues are responsible for helping drivers in and out of the vehicle. Safety belts also need to be adjusted so that safety protocols are adhered to so each driver will be checked by the pit-lane marshall. A great way to add that little extra dimension to this fun filled activity.
We can run Apache Buggies on their own or as part of a larger Country Sports or
Motorised Madness event.
