The Sting - one of my all time favourite movies which introduced a lot of us to the world of the Long Con! We all want to know how to reduce our chances of being taken to the cleaners in a casino, and this event will put some theories to the test!
So, How Does The Sting Work?
Do you think you can beat the house in our Sting event? Statistically, there is only a slight difference in odds - obviously in favour of the house (they call this the House Edge)! However, with just a little training and practice, it's possible to even the playing field!
The event kicks off with an introduction to the art of 'Grifting' - the old term for hustlers! Learn about betting strategies such as the Martingale (essentially doubling your bet after every loss on a 50/50 bet like red or black in Roulette), card counting and of course the long and short cons!
Once the training is completed, it's time to face the Casino! We split the group and allocate them their 'stake' for the event. They must decide in their teams what strategies they will put into play. Will they be able to not only beat the house, but also the other teams!?

- Bar Bets - learn some great bar tricks to score you free drinks with your mates!
